To Review
When I began it was purely on a whim; I was bored and needed something to do.
I felt that if I could beat the shit out of my keyboard every day until I died then by that time I'd be writing like Shakespeare, coupled with Dante and a sprig of Swift.
Alas, it was not to be, because I ran out of steam and general enthusiasm for the venture.
Mostly I just ran out of things to say.
I've learned a lot from writing this blog though.
The biggest thing I have learned is that it is better to write a blog about something that isn't so personal that it may come back to bite you very hard in the arse later on.
It would also probably serve as something of more interest to others if I didn't blab on about how I was able to throw one foot in front of the other for several miles on occasion.
My Degree
Readers will be happy to hear that I achieved a 2:1 in my degree, or for those who liked hearing the fancy name for it, an Upper Second Class degree with Honours.
I worked pretty hard as well.
Bio breaks were cut in half.
Water intake doubled.
I wasn't sure if my kidney's would survive that kind of onslaught but they did okay in the end.
Come Wednesday I graduate, and the era in which I attended the worst University in the country ends.
Thank fuck.
The Last Line
I think I shall end this post with a quote from a great man by the name of Carl Sagan, someone I draw much inspiration from (inspiration to not throw myself onto the nearest motorway).
In reference to an image taken by Voyager 1, he wrote,
There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits that this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish this pale blue dot, the only home we've ever know.
